About Us

The Embroiderer's Guild of America

The mission of EGA is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education.

Our Story

The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) was established in New York in 1958 as a branch of The Embroiderers' Guild of London.  EGA withdrew from the London Guild in 1970 and The Embroiderers' Guild of America came into being.  EGA is made up of 13 regions across the US and Canada.

Our chapter was chartered in 1995.  Our members live all over Northwest Arkansas - Bella Vista, Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville, Prairie Creek - and southern Missouri. We welcome anyone interested in stitching with a threaded needle to visit one of our meetings.

Meetings are held at  the Shiloh Museum in Springdale  at the
